~*~*~Iridescence IV~*~*~
This meadowscene radiates with ethereal light. It glows with countless colors as you tilt the frame, creating a pearly shimmer that is absolutely angelic. Made for the creative soul--a portal into a realm of rainbow light. May it fill your home with magick. May it remind you of your mystical nature, and the absolute wonder of existence.
This vintage frame was hand-selected and re-purposed by me. All plants and wings are glued directly onto iridescent glass that I hand-cut and grinded, and then covered with a sheet of clear glass for protection and shine.
This piece contains various varieties of preserved fern, German statice, silver ragwort, Queen Anne's lace, chamomile, Chinese bushclover, peacock feather tendrils as antennae, and the wings of a rice paper butterfly (Idea leuconoe).
This butterfly was purchased from a sustainable butterfly sanctuary. All creatures used were collected after passing away naturally, and are now honored and cherished forever.
Please read the Care Instruction section for more info!
~Each piece that I make is created in an intentional, devotional space. I sit with the plants and create whatever my inner vision directs me to. This is my sacred practice, and it is suffused with magic and love!~
Iridescence IV
-Not for outdoor placement, keep indoors to avoid water damage.-
Best to keep away from direct sunlight, as the plants will fade over time if placed in a window! The fading of plants is natural and does not take away from their beauty, but rather reminds us of the constant change in life. If you are okay with this, then a window is fine. But keep in mind--the colors will stay forever if kept away from direct strong light.
