~*~*~Wildflower Bifold~*~*~

Perfect for an altar, desk, or table, this piece folds in two and is tiny and easy to travel with. On one side is a wildflower scene, with a beauty butterfly sipping from a flower. On the other side is a midnight wildflower fairy~an elemental being of the woodlands and flower meadows. May this piece instill intuition, presence, and mystical essence.

This vintage frame (~1960's) was hand-selected and re-purposed by me. Glass is hand-cut for this specific design and was carefully and lovingly put together to create this unique piece. All plants and wings are glued directly onto glass and then covered with another piece of glass for protection and shine!

This piece contains fern, statice flower, queen anne's lace, lavender, various wildflowers, a blue feather (bird unknown) found in Colombia by my grandmother's house, the winds of an unknown butterfly found after a storm on my grandmother's farm in the Colombian Andes mountains, and the wings of a blue charaxes butterfly (Charaxes tiridates).

This blue charaxes butterfly was purchased from a sustainable butterfly sanctuary. The other smaller butterfly was found on my family's farm in Colombia after a storm. These beautiful creatures were collected after passing away naturally, and are now honored and cherished forever.

Please read the Care Instruction section for more info!

~Each piece that I make is created in an intentional, devotional space. I sit with the plants and create whatever my inner vision directs me to. This is my sacred practice, and it is suffused with magic and love!~

  • -Not for outdoor placement, keep indoors to avoid water damage.-

Best to keep away from direct sunlight, as the plants will fade over time if placed in a window! The fading of plants is natural and does not take away from their beauty, but rather reminds us of the constant change in life. If you are okay with this, then a window is fine. But keep in mind--the colors will stay forever if kept away from direct strong light
