This piece holds open a soft doorway into a world of iridescent light. Stained glass background resembles a shimmery mother-of-pearl, and color shifts into rainbow hues as light hits it from different angles. Moon phases made out of eucalyptus leaves remind you of your cyclical nature, and your place in the cosmos. This piece radiates angelic protection and connections to mystical realms. 
 
All plants and wings are glued directly onto hand-cut iridescent glass and then covered with clear glass for protection and shine.
This piece contains eucalyptus, pansy, wild wheat, fern, moss + lichen, goldleaf, and the wings of a turquoise swallowtail butterfly (Papilio phorcas).
 
This butterfly was purchased from a sustainable butterfly sanctuary. All creatures were respnsibly and ethically collected after passing away naturally, and are now honored and cherished forever.
