~*~*~Antique Mirror Garden~*~*~

This piece was created on a hand-cut antique speckled mirror (~1910's). A doorway into a tiny corner of the dark forest, lush with ferns and wildflowers. A sixbar swordtail butterfly rests upon the flora, emanating a golden glow. May this piece open your home to the wonder of the wild woods and connect you to the green heartspace of Earth.

This vintage frame was hand-selected and re-purposed by me. All plants and wings are glued directly onto repurposed hand-cut antique mirror from the 1910's, and then covered with a sheet of clear glass for protection and shine. Can be easily hung, perfect to bless an entryway, altar space, bedspace, creative corner, or any intentional space in your home.

This piece contains fern, lupine, goldleaf, queen anne's lace stems as antennae, and the wings of a sizbar swordtail (Graphium eurous).

All creatures used in my art were collected after passing away naturally, and are now honored and cherished forever.

~Each piece that I make is created in an intentional, devotional space. I sit with the plants and create whatever my inner vision directs me to. This is my sacred practice, and it is suffused with magick and love~

Best to keep away from direct sunlight, as the plants will fade over time if placed in a window! The fading of plants is natural and does not take away from their beauty, but rather reminds us of the constant change in life. If you are okay with this, then a window is fine. But keep in mind--the colors will stay forever if kept away from direct strong light
