~*~*~Faery Mirror Portal~*~*~

Ethereal mirror portal, filled with preserved fern, rose, and butterfly wings. This piece radiates royal energy-- may it fill your home with the majesty of the woodlands. May it serve as a portal into an ancient forest, where magick is around every corner and the trees whisper their secrets into the wind.

This Italian vintage frame (~1950's) was hand-selected and re-purposed by me. Mirror and glass is hand-cut for this specific design and was carefully and lovingly put together to create this unique piece. All plants and wings are glued directly onto mirror and then covered with another piece of glass for protection and shine!

This piece contains fern, red rose, goldleaf, and the wings of a common jay butterfly (Graphium doson).

This butterfly was purchased from a sustainable butterfly sanctuary. These beautiful creatures were collected after passing away naturally, and are now honored and cherished forever.

Please read the Care Instruction section for more info!

~Each piece that I make is created in an intentional, devotional space. I sit with the plants and create whatever my inner vision directs me to. This is my sacred practice, and it is suffused with magic and love!~

  • -Not for outdoor placement, keep indoors to avoid water damage.-

Best to keep away from direct sunlight, as the plants will fade over time if placed in a window! The fading of plants is natural and does not take away from their beauty, but rather reminds us of the constant change in life. If you are okay with this, then a window is fine. But keep in mind--the colors will stay forever if kept away from direct strong light.
