~*~*~Wildflower Meadow Mirror Portal~*~*~
This mirror is a direct reflection of a wildflower meadow at dawn. Wind blowing through the ferns and grasses, wildflowers filled with butterflies sipping their nectar. May it serve as a portal to tranquility, ease, gentleness, and beauty for your home. May staring into it bring serenity and a soothing balm for the heart.
This vintage frame was hand-selected and re-purposed by me. Glass and mirror is hand-cut for this specific design and was carefully and lovingly put together to create this unique piece. All plants and wings are glued directly onto mirror and then covered with glass for protection and shine.
This piece contains fern, lavender, german statice, pansy, wild wheat, snowy white dusty miller leaves, wildflowers, peacock feather tendrils, and the wings of a purple spotted swallowtail butterfly (Graphium weiskei).
This butterfly was purchased from a sustainable butterfly sanctuary. These beautiful creatures were collected after passing away naturally, and are now honored and cherished forever.
Please read the Care Instruction section for more info!
~Each piece that I make is created in an intentional, devotional space. I sit with the plants and create whatever my inner vision directs me to. This is my sacred practice, and it is suffused with magic and love!~
Wildflower Meadow Mirror II
-Not for outdoor placement, keep indoors to avoid water damage.-
Best to keep away from direct sunlight, as the plants will fade over time if placed in a window! The fading of plants is natural and does not take away from their beauty, but rather reminds us of the constant change in life. If you are okay with this, then a window is fine. But keep in mind--the colors will stay forever if kept away from direct strong light.
