I sourced the vintage mirror myself, took it apart, created art on the mirror, and then had glass hand-cut to the exact measurement to piece it all together. All plants and wings are glued directly onto the mirror and then covered with glass for protection and shine! This piece contains ferns, blanketflower, red rose, friendship sage, peacock feathers, wild plants, goldleaf, and the giant wings of an eastern tiger swallowtail butterfly (Papilio glaucus). This butterfly was purchased from a sustainable butterfly sanctuary. This beautiful creature was collected after passing away naturally, and is now honored and cherished forever.
